A £48m museum has opened in Plymouth, containing aspects of “all of the city’s history and culture”.

The opening of The Box was delayed by four months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The site contains about 1.5 million objects, including artefacts from voyages of Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake.
